About us
Toksika implements a sustainability policy approved by the Management Board in March 2024, which replaced the social responsibility policy, being applied since 2019. The sustainability policy is the company’s voluntary commitment to developing a sustainable business culture and practices in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) guidelines, and the values of respect for humankind, employees, society and the environment. Toksika identifies six priority area for sustainability based on the significance of the impacts they cause:
- The circular economy and climate neutrality (priority area under “Environment”),
- Environmentally friendly operations (priority area under “Environment”),
- Occupational safety and employee well-being (priority area under “Social Responsibility”),
- Communality and openness (priority area under “Social Responsibility”),
- Public education (priority area under “Social Responsibility”),
- Business ethics (priority area under “Governance”).
In 2023, Toksika participated for the fourth year in a row in the National Responsible Business Awards, which has been organised since 2013 by the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, Ministry of the Economy and Innovation, and the Ministry of Environment, together with social partners. Awards won by the company in the category of the medium-sized enterprises:
